Presidential Task Force on Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease was established with direct guidance and instructions of His Excellency in order to enhance facilities of welfare and preventative matters to patients affected with Chronic Kidney Disease.

Under this program 19 Filter water supply systems in the Ehetuwewa Divisional Secretariat area have been handed over to the Sri Lanka Navy by the Presidential Secretariat.The following places have been established in the filter water supply systems and have been successfully implemented
