On 05.12.1998, the Ehatuewa Divisional Secretariat was started due to the service needs of the people of Ehatuewa Division. Since then, it has completed 25 years on 05.12.2023 by providing many services to the people of the division. To celebrate that anniversary, building a house for a family who had no shade on earth was a thought that arose in the mind of Ethetuwewa Divisional Secretary Mrs. Udyanika Weerasinghe. According to that thought, a plot of land was selected in Mihidupura village of Ehetuwewa area to build a new house on 19.10.2023. The house which was completed together with the official children of the office was donated to the owners of the house on 07.12.2023 by the letter of the Honorable Governor of the North West Province Mr. Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena. Honorable Kurunegala District Member of Parliament Mr. Asanka Navaratne, Kurunegala District Secretary, North West Chief Secretary and many other guests attended the event.
